We will be starting construction on the areas of PON 10 & PON 12 after Labor Day 2024. Starting June 1st, 2024, we will be accepting service agreements for these areas. If you have previously applied for service you will need to resubmit a new agreement. You may submit an electronic application at www.chanute.org/fiber. Applications are also available at the Utility Office. Price for internet service is $75 for Residential. Business applicants will have to apply at the Utility Office. Completion of construction and splicing is projected to be mid-winter to early spring of 2025. New customers will not be charged for the service until after activation by the City of Chanute is complete.
