SUBJECT: SUMMER HOURS
Beginning TUESDAY May 31st, 2022 all Public Works and Utility departments will begin working SUMMER HOURS from 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Trash routes will begin at 6:30 am on TUESDAY May 31st. Please be sure to set your trash out by 6:30 am on your regular trash day.
The Landfill will be operating regular hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday and 8:00 am – Noon on Saturday. Closed Sunday.

Chanute Public Library
The library will close at 1 pm on July 2nd for the Fourth of July. The library will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th at 9 am.

Play Minute-to-Win-It games and challenges based on your favorite Greek gods and goddesses! For tween and teens ages 10 & up. Must be pre-registered. Registration starts June 27th and ends July 5th.
Come hear local musician Amy Rhodes play her accordion! All ages welcomed.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SUMMER READING!!! Summer reading ends at 5 pm on July 16th, so make sure that your child has finished the summer reading program and qualifies for the swim party on Sunday, August 7th.
