  1. "Three Little Pigs"

    The Wichita Children's Theatre Professional Touring Company will present The Three Little Pigs at the Chanute Memorial Auditorium on Monday, November 20 at 9:30 am. We meet the three Pigs as they have a family meeting and decide that it's time they move out of their mom's house and start lives of their own. One by one they meet up with a kindly merchant who sells them materials to build their new homes-straw, sticks, and bricks. soon, the bumbling, hungry sill Wolf appears and tries to get the pigs to give them some food - but they won't. The wolf gets angry and blows down the straw and stick houses. The pigs escape to their brother's brick house. The Wolf is unable to blow the brick house down and orders the pigs to come out so he can give the pigs a piece of his mind. In the end, the pigs teach the wolf to control his temper and how to ba a friend and the pigs promise to be his new pals. The performance is sponsored by The Chanute Art Gallery.

    The Wichita Children's Theatre Professional Touring Company will present THE MARK TWAIN SHOW. the fast-paced hilarious comedy featuring Mark Twain's greatest hits. The Mark Twain Show is a great play for young audiences, an artful array of Twain's most humorous writings, wittiest quotes and even some of his most gripping drama - Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer, Legend of Sagenfeld, Adam and Eve. "Playwright Kathryn Schultz Miller has picked several highlights from Mark Twain's works and linked them with clever dialogue crating a smart play." This production is sponsored locally by The Chanute Art Gallery.
